A fruitseller purchases lemon at rate of 2 for rs1 and sells at rate of 5lemon for rs 3 what is his percentage profit

Now, he sells 5 lemons at 3 RS

So,

5 lemons =3 RS

2 lemons = x RS

By cross multiplying we get

5x= 6 & x=6/5

Therefore, Selling price(sp) of 2 lemons is 6/5 RS

Now Profit% = (sp-cp/cp) *100

=(6/5–1/5)*100

=1/5*100

=20%

So profit earned by seller is 20%
