A) full form of ER is endoplasmic reticulum.
B) then there will be no movement of water because the boiled cell Nd the hypertonic medium has the same amount of water concentration..

1-The full form of ER is Endoplasmic Reticulum.
Function of ER is to facilitate transport of materials from one part of cell to another, thus forming the cell's circulatory system
It is of two types:-
(i)Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum (RER)
=The RER offers extensive surface on which protein synthesis can be conveniently done.
(ii)Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum (SER)
=The SER provides surface for the synthesis of lipds, including phospholipids, cholesterol etc.
2-When the plant cell is placed in a hypertonic solution, the cytoplasm along with plasma membrane shrikns and separates from the cell wall as water flows out from the vacuole. The vacuole shrinks but remains enclosed by the cytoplasm. This process of shrinkage is called plasmolysis.
