using algebra

236x + 8y = 9548 \\ 236(25) + 8y = 9548 \\ 8y = 3648 \\ y = 456

Cost of 236 chairs= $25*236    = $ 5900

Total costs of  236 chairs and 8 tables = $ 9548

Cost of 8 tables = $9548 -$5900    = $3648

Cost of one table= $3648 divided by 8
