a galvanic cell ( immersed in 1M solution) with the cell notation
Cr(s)/Cr 3+ (aq) // Cu2+/Cu (s)
a. the anode and cathode
b. using arrow, indicate the flow of electrons
c. the reaction in the anode and cathode
d. overall reaction
e. the voltage of the cell, is it spontaneous

Explanation:

a) Anode -- Cr

Cathode -- Cu

b) Anode to cathode

c) Anode :

Cr losses it's 6 electrons to form Cr^+3

Cathode :

Cu gains it's 6 electons to form Cu

d) 2Cr gives 2Cr^+3 + 6 electons

3Cu^+2 + 6 electons gives 3Cu

So, overall reaction will be

2Cr + 3 Cu^+2 -----> 2 Cr^+3 + 3Cu

e) Yes, spontaneous
