Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter-52

Let the breadth of the garden be x

then

length is x+2

perimeter- 2(l+b)

52= 2(x+2+x)

26=2x+2

26-2=2x

24=2x

x=12

Breadth of the garden=12meter

Length of the garden=14

we have :-

  • perimeter of the rectangular garden = 52 m.
  • length is 2 more than the breadth .

we have to find :-

  • the length and breadth of the garden .

Formula used :-

perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

Solution :-

  • let breadth of garden be x m .
  • then length will be (x + 2) m .

A.T.Q

2(x + 2 + x) = 52

4x +4 = 52

4x = 50 - 4

4x = 48

x = 48/4

x = 12 m

so, breadth of rectangular garden x = 12 m .

therefore, length = x + 2

= 12 + 2

= 14 m .

therefore,

  • length of rectangular garden = 14m.
  • breadth of rectangular garden = 12m.
