a garden is 120m long and 96m wide. two cross roads, each 5 m wide,one parallel to the length and the other parallel to the breadth,are laid in the middle of it. find the area of the cross roads​

Answer:-

Area of long road = 120m x 5m

=600²

Area of wide road = 96m x 5m

=480²

Area of middle square road = 5m x 5m

=25m²

So, Area of both parallel lines is = 600m2+ 480m²- 25m²
