A garden is 140m long and 90m wide . It has a circular pond in the middle with radius 28m . The remaining area is covered with grass . Find the remaining area which is covered with grass

Remaining area=area of garden- area of pond                                           area of garden=area of rectangle=lb=140×90=12600m²            area of pond =area of circle =πr² = 22÷7×28×28=2464m²    remaining area=12600-2464=9954m²
