Length of rectangular garden = 30 m and breadth of rectangular garden = 25 m Outer length of rectangular garden with path = 30 + 5 + 5 = 40 m = 25 + 5 + 5 = 35 m Outer area of rectangular garden with path = length x breadth = 40 x 35 = 1400 m2 Inner area of garden without path = length x breadth = 40 x 35 = 750 m2 Now Area of path = Area of garden with path – Area of garden without path = 1400 – 750 = 650m2 Since, 1 m2 =1/10000 hectares Therefore, 650 m2 = 650 = 0.065 hectares
