Answer:

Formula used:

Area of the rectangle= Length×Breadth

Solution:

Length= 30m

Breadth=25m

Area of the garden= (30×25)m = 750m²

New length which is added around rectangle=

30+2×5 = 30+10 = 40m

New Breadth which is aaded around rectangle=

25+2×5 = 25+10 = 35m

Area of the rectangle with path= (40×35)m = 1400m²

So, Area of the path= Area of the rectangle with path-Area of the rectangle without path

Area of path = (1400-750)m² = 650m²

Therefore, The area of the path is 650m².
