Answer:

Area of the path:

Area of outer rectangle =40x30

= 1200m2

Area of inner rectangle =35x25

= 875m2

Area of the path=1200-875 =325m2

\LARGE\underline{\underline{\sf Given:}}

  • Length of garden = 35m

  • Width of garden = 25m

  • Path (outside) = 2.5m

\large\underline{\underline{\sf To\:Find:}}

  • Area of path = ?

\LARGE\underline{\underline{\sf Solutionn:}}

Area of Original Garden = Length × Breadth

\implies{\tt 35×25 }

\implies{\tt 875m^2}

After path is Added :

New length = 35+(2×2.5)

\implies{\sf 40m}

New Breadth = 25+(2×2.5)

\implies{\sf 30m}

Area of Garden with path :

\implies{\tt 40×30 }

\implies{\tt 1200m^2 }

•°•

Area of path = Area of Garden with path - Area of Garden without path

\implies{\tt 1200-875 }

\implies{\tt 325m^2 }

\LARGE\underline{\underline{\sf Answer:}}

•°• Area of path is 325m²
