AB = 4 + 68 + 4

     = 76 m

BC = 4 + 52 + 4

     = 60 m

AREA (ABCD) = LENGTH × WIDTH

                       = 76 × 60

                       = 4560 m^{2}

AREA ON WHICH PATH TO BE BUILT = AREA (ABCD) - AREA (PQRS)

                                                                = 4560 - 3536

                                                                = 1024 m^{2}

COST PER m^{2} = 48.5

COST OF 1024m^{2} = 1024 × 48.5

                               = 49664
