Solution :-

Area of Rectangle ABCD = L×B

=> 90 × 70

=> 6,300m²

Area of outer rectangle PQRS :-

=> AB + 5 + 5

»» 90 + 10 = 100

=> AC + 5 + 5

»» 70 + 10 = 80

So, Area of outer rectangle PQRS is L×B

=> 100×80 = 8000m²

Now, Area of path = (Area of rectangle PQRS - Area of rectangle ABCD)

=> 8000m² - 6300m²

=> 1700m²

Therefore, Area of path is 1700m².

We know that, 1 hectare = 10,000m²

So, 6,300m² = 6,300/10,000

=> 0.63 hectares

Hence, Area of garden in hectare is 0.63 hectares.

Solution :- Area of Rectangle ABCD = LxB => 90 × 70 => 6,300m² Area of outer rectangle PQRS : => AB + 5 + 5 »» 90 + 10 = 100 => AC +

5+5 »»> 70 + 10 = 80 So, Area of

outer rectangle PQRS is LxB => 100x80 = 8000m² Now, Area of path= (Area of

rectangle PQRS - Area of rectangle ABCD) => 8000m² - 6300m²-> 1700m² =>

Therefore, Area of path is 1700m². We know that, 1 hectare = 10,000m² So,

6,300m² = 6,300/10,000

0.63 hectares Hence, Area of garden in hectare is 0.63 hectares.
