Answer

Area of garden in hectare is 0.675 \mathrm{m}^{2}.

Given Data:

Let length be l and Breadth be b.

(l) = 90 m

(b) = 75 m

Step 1:

Area of garden = l \timess b

Area of garden = 90 \times 75(Using the given data)

Area of garden = 6750 \mathrm{m}^{2}

Step 2:

From the given dimensions, the garden is drawn roughly and attached.

Step 3:

Area of the garden including the path = 100 \times 85

= 8500

Step 4:

Path Area = Area of including the path − Area of garden

Step 5:

Area of path = 8500 − 6750

= 1750 \mathrm{m}^{2}

Step 6:

As we know, 1 hectare = 10000 \mathrm{m}^{2}

Step 7:

Therefore, area of garden in hectare

=\frac{6750}{10000} =0.675
