Answer:

Length of rectangular garden=90m and breadth of rectangular garden=75m

Outer length of rectangular garden with path=90+5+5=100m

Outer breadth of rectangular garden with path =75+5+5=85m

Outer area of rectangular garden with path=length×breadth=100×85=8,500m sq.

Inner area of garden without path=length×breadth=90×75=6,750m

Now, Area of path=Area of garden with path−Area of garden without path

=8,500−6,750

=1,750m sq.

Since, 1m sq. =1/10000 hectares

Therefore, 6,750m sq.

= 6750/10000

=0.675 hectares.

Length of rectangular garden= 90m

breadth of rectangular garden=75m

Outer length of rectangular garden with path = 90+5+5 = 100m

Outer breadth of rectangular garden with path = 75+5+5= 85m

Outer Area of rectangular garden with Path = Length X Breadth 100 X 85 = 8500 m²

Inner area of garden without path = length X Breadth = 90X75 = 6750 m²

Now, Area of path=Area of garden with path−Area of garden without path

=8,500−6,750

=1,750m²
