Answer:

8550000hectares.

Step-by-step explanation:

First of all fid the area of the garden which is 90m*76m=6840sq.m . Now increase the length and breadth by 5 and find the area of the garden including the path which is 95m*81m=7695sq.m . Now subtract the areas (7695-6840=855sq.m) .

Now 1sq. m= 10000hectares. So, 855*10000=8550000hectares.

Here, Area of path = area of larger rectangle + area of smaller rectangle

Finding length & Breadth of both Rectangles

Now in Small rectangle:-

Length of smaller rectangle= 90m

Breadth of smaller rectangle= 75m

In larger rectangle

5m wide path runs all around outside smaller rectangle

Therefore length of larger rectangle = length of smaller rectangle + 2 × 5

=> 90 + 10

=> 100m

Breadth of larger rectangle = Breadth of smaller rectangle+ 2× 5

=> 75 + 10

=> 85m

Larger rectangle:- l = 100m & b = 85m

Area of larger rectangle = l × b => 100 × 85

=> 8700m²

Smaller rectangle:- l = 90m & b = 75m

Area of smaller rectangle = l × b => 90 × 75

=> 6750m²

Now , area of path - area of larger rectangle - area of smaller rectangle

=> 8700 - 6750

=> 1750m²

area of path is 1750m²

Area of garden= l × b = 90 × 75 => 6750m²

=> 6750 × 1/ 10,000 hectare => 0.675 hectare

  • Area of garden is 0.675 hectare
