area of trapezium
=1/2×sum of length of parallel sides × height
=1/2×(40+22)×12
=1/2×62×12
=31×12
=372 m2

Area of trapezium= 1/2(a+b)×h

here, a=40m, b=22m, h=12m

Area= 1/2(40+22)×12

=1/2×62×12msq.

=372msq.
