given the Length of the garden is 24m and breadth is 25m.

if it's reduced by 1.4 and 2m respectively.

then it's length will be = 24 - 1.4

= 22.6m

breadth will be = 25 - 2

= 23m

hence new area of the garden = l × b

= 22.6 × 23

= 519.8m²
