Answer:

Given,

Diameter of a circular garden = 42m

Radius(r) of a circular garden = Diameter/2

= 42/2 m

= 21m

By formula,

circumference(one round) of a garden = 2πr

= 2×22/7×21 m

= 2×22×3 m

= 132 m

Therefore, the length of the rope he needs to purchase, if he makes 3 rounds of fence = 132 × 3 m

= 396m (ans)

cost of 1m of rope = ₹ 15

cost of 396m of rope = ₹ 396 × 15

= ₹ 5,940

Answer:- The total cost of the rope is ₹ 5940.
