Solutions :-
Given :
Marked price of a shirt = ₹ 1250
Discount on its marked price = 10%
Profit = 25%
Find the Selling price of shirt :-
S.P = M.P - discount % of M.P
= 1250 - 10% of 1250
= 1250 - 125
= 1125
Find the cost price of shirt :-
C.P = (S.P × 100)/(100 + Profit)
= (1125 × 100)/(100 + 125)
= 112500/125
= 900
Hence,
The cost price of shirt = ₹ 900
Given :
Marked price of a shirt = ₹ 1250
Discount on its marked price = 10%
Profit = 25%
Find the Selling price of shirt :-
S.P = M.P - discount % of M.P
= 1250 - 10% of 1250
= 1250 - 125
= 1125
Find the cost price of shirt :-
C.P = (S.P × 100)/(100 + Profit)
= (1125 × 100)/(100 + 125)
= 112500/125
= 900
Hence,
The cost price of shirt = ₹ 900
