A garments shop earn a profit of rs100 on every shirt and loses rs 50 on every sale of half pant. <br />a) The shop sells in a mnth 50 shirts and 150 half pant.<br />b) If the shop owner sells 50 half pants in a mnth . how many shirts he has to sell to earn a profit of rs 5000<br />

profit on every shirt =rs 100
loss on every pant =rs50
number of pants sold=50
profit=50×100= rs5000
no. of pants sold=150
loss=150×50=rs7500
overall loss=7500-5000
=rs2500
