Initial strength of men = 120 men

Remaining provision to last = 30 - 5 = 25 days

New strength of men = 120 + 5 = 125 ............... ( 5 more men join after 5 days)

Using Unitary Method (inverse relation between men and days))

Provision for 120 men could last = 25 days

Provision for 1 man could last for = 25 x 120 ............( inverse relation)

Provision for 125 men would last =   $\frac{25 X 120}{125} = 24$

So, the required answer is 24 days
