then, the total provision available=no. of men * provisions each men have

    =>the total provisions=120*30=3600units

Now,

Total provisions used in 5 days=120*5=600units

Which means Total provisions left=3600-600=3000units

Now after 5 days 5 men more joined,

Which means no. of men=120+5=125

and provisions=3000units.

=>No.of days they will sustain=total left provisions/total men

                                                =3000/125=24  days

=>Total days they will sustain on provisions=24+5=29days(as 5 days already past away).
