A garrison of 120 men has provision for 30 days . At the end of 5 days, 5 more men joined them. How many days can they sustain on the remaining provision?

At the end of five days means 30 -5=25 days. This is because atq 5 days are over.. So among 30 days left days is 30-5=25

Therefore,

120 men has provision for 25 days

1 man has provision for 25 * 120 days(because when 1 man is there he will require more days to finish the food)

therefore (120+5)*=125 men has provision for 25*120/125=24 days

*here more 5 men came after 5 days...
