Solution:-
Let the remaining food will last for 'x' days.
1500 men had provision for (60 - 25) = 35 days 
(1500 + 500) men had provision for x days.
More men, less days (Indirect proportion)
2000 : 1500 : : 35 : x
2000x = 1500*35
2000x = 52500
x = 52500/2000
x = 105/4 or 26.25 days
So, the remaining food will last for 26. 25 days.
Hence the option (3) is correct.
