A gas cylinder can withstand a pressure of of 10 ATM. At 25 degree Celsius the pressure inside the cylinder is 4 ATM. If cylinder catches fire then at what temperature cylinder will burn?​

By using formula

P1/T1 = P2/T2

Given :

P1 = 4 ATM                            P2 = 10 ATM

T1 = 27  ∘ C + 273 = 300 kelvin

so T2 = 10 x 300 / 4  

    = 3000/4

    = 750 kelvin

=477 ∘ C
