Hey buddy here is your answer...

The particles of gas are constantly moving on all directions with different speeds . As a result of this random motion , the particles of gas collide with one another and also against the walls of the container. As a result of these collisions , the gas exerts some force on the walls of the container . This force per unit area is called pressure of gas. Thus, gases exert pressure due to the collisions of the particles of the gas on the walls of the containing vessels.

Because in the gaseous state, the particles move about randomly at high speed. Due to this random movement, the particles hit each other and also the walls of the container. The pressure exerted by the gas is because of this force exerted by gas particles per unit area on the walls of the container.
