The particles of gas are in continuous motion that's why when they move inside the container it seems that they exerts pressure on the walls of the container.

THIS IS BECAUSE GAS PARTICLES R SO ACTIVE(LIKE ME) SO THEY RUN IN EVERY DIRECTION AND EXERTS A PRESSURE ON EACH OTHER AND ALSO THE WALLS OF THE CONTAINERS.
