gases have the property of fluidity so they can flow easily also gases exert pressure in all directions it is the property of gases that makes it to exert pressure on the walls of the container

we know that gases are made up of molecules which are in random motion so when molecules of gasses collide with the walls of container it exert force because gases contain molecule and we know that molecule has some mass so moving mass has momentum and when it collide with walls then its momentum is changed ..and ACCORDING TO NEWTON'S 2nd LAW.when there is change in momntum then a force acts on it in the direction of change in momentum take place.
