Given :

  • Volume of Gas (V) = 2.1 liters
  • Pressure (P) = 10^5 N/m²

To Find :

  • Work done by gas

Solution :

First convert the Volume from litres to , which is SI unit,

As we know that,

⇒ 1 litre = 0.001 m³

So,

⇒ Volume = 0.0021

⇒Volume = 2.1 × 10^-3 m²

As we know that,

➠ W = PV

⇒W = 10^5 × 2.1 × 10^-3

⇒W = 2.1 × 10^(5 - 3)

⇒W = 2.1 × 10^2

⇒W = 210

\therefore Work done is 210 J
