A gas has certain volume at 10°C. How much temperature should be
raised to double its volume?Answer is 283 K but i dont get the method.
a) 566K
b) 283K
c) 293K

let volume =v at certain temperature 10degree celcius

converting 10 degree Celsius into Kelvin

10+273.15=283.15

how much temperature should be rasied to double the volume

V2= ?

V1+V2=X

283+V2=X

V2=X-283

OR

V2= X-10

consider now X as V1

V2-V1=10

Or

Ans =283K
