At what temperature will the volume above be four times the volume​  

Solution:

We use the formula,

V1/T1 = V2/T2

From given, we have,

Above and below of the piston there is equal no. of moles of gas the volume above is the two times the volume below at a temperature of 300K.  

2V/300 = V/T

The volume above becomes four times the volume​  

4V/600 = 2V/300 = V/T

T = 600 K

Therefore, at 600 K the volume above becomes four times the volume​.
