This happens due to the process known as diffusion.
As we've studied earlier that the gaseous state of matter has the maximum inter-molecular space hence its rate of diffusion is highest.
The first jar contains air and the second jar contains bromine vapour which is in the gaseous state of matter.
Since both of the jars are containing the gaseous state of matter, therefore they are able to diffuse quickly.
