A gas occupies 100cc volume at STP and its mass is 0.48g. What is the molecular mass of the gas?

100cc=100ml

1 mole at STP=22400ml

1mole=molecular mass of gas.

100ml occupies 0.5g

22400ml will occupy 0.5×22400/100

=112g at STP.
