heya here is your answer

Let pressure (P1)=x

pressure (P2)=4x

volume (V1)=20l

volume (V2)=?

Now by applying Boyle's law

P1*V1=P2*V2

=>x*20=4x*V2

=>V2=20x÷4x

=>V2=5 litre. (Ans)

Answer: The volume will be 5 litres.

Explanation:

Given:

Volume V_1 at constant temperature with pressure P_1

V_1=20 l,P_1= p

P_2=4p, V_2=?at constant temperature

According to Boyle's law:

P_1V1=P_2V_2

p\times 20 L=4p\times V_2

V_2=5L

The volume of the gas will 5 L when pressure is increased four times.
