A gas occupies 3 litres at 0 degree celsius. What volume will it occupy at -20 degree celsius, pressure remaining constant?

V2 = ?

T1 = 0°C = 273K

T2 = -20°C = 253K

THEREFORE, APPLYING CHARLES' LAW:

V1/T1 = V2/T2
