V1 / T1 = V2/T2
V1 = 2L
T1 =1000⁰c = 1000 + 273 = 1273K
T2 = 0⁰c = 0 + 273 = 273K
then
new volume
V2 = V1 T2 / T1
= 2 × 273 / 1273
= 0.43L.
