The price for coating is 50*2.2608 = 113.04 Rs

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Given pipe diameter is = d = 0.4 m
  • Lnegth = l = 18 m
  • So, plating required = surface area of the pipe = A = \pi \frac{d^{2} }{4}*l
  • Plating required = 2.2608 meter square
  • Price per square meter = 50 Rs.
  • So, the price for coating is 50*2.2608 = 113.04 Rs.
  • The price of coating will be equals to the surface of the produce of the area of the pipe and price per square meter.
