here we have
the formula for change in internal energy is (u)
u=q(heat)+w(work done)
q=800
w=(p)*(vf-vi)(vf-vi=2-0.5)
w=4.5*10^5*1.5
w=675*10^3
so we get the change in internal energy
u=800+675000
w=675800

Answer:given that,

Vf=2m3 ,Vi=0.5m3, P=4.5×Pa

Explanation:

dW=P(Vf-Vi)

=4.5×10*5(2-0.5)

=4.5×10*5(1.5)

dW= 6.75×10*5

dU=dQ-dW

=8×10*5-6.75×10*5

dU=1.25×10*5 J

Your answer is 1.25×10*5 J

Hope it helps you
