▶A gas neither has a fixed shape nor a fixed volume.
As the particles of the gas are free to move anywhere, it assumes the shape and volume of the container in which it is kept.
For example : Balloon filled with helium, when the same amount of helium is kept in a closer tight jar it will occupy all the space of the jar.
