Total pressure = (P₁V₁ + P₂V₂) / (V₁ + V₂)
= [(900 × 500) + (700 × 1000)] / (500 + 1000)
= 766.67 torr
Total pressure will be 766.67 torr

= [(900 × 500) + (700 × 1000)] / (500 + 1000)
= 766.67 torr
