I think there is mistake

Explanation:

Suppose we take 1 mole of CH4, weight=16 gm

And 1 mole of C2H6, weight =30 gm

NOW 1 mole of both CH4 & C2H6 occupy 22.4 L

Therefore, when we mixed total weight

=16+30

=46

Total volume of mixture=22.4+22.4

=44.8 L

44.8 L of mixture weight 46 g.

So,2.24 L of mixture weights

=(46÷44.8) ×2.24

=2.3g
