x=0.5litres
Therefore, 7x= 3.5litres
Similarly for second equation
That is,
C3H8+5O2 ----- 3CO2 +4H2O
x. 5x. 3x. 4x
x=1litre
Therefore,
5x= 5litres of oxygen used here
Therefore volume of oxygen required is 8.5litres.
