moles of co2(given)= 0.40
.*.moles of 02 = ntotal - moles of co2
=2.4 - 0.4 =2
P.p of O2=Pt × Xo2 (Pt =total pressure Xo2= mole fraction of o2)
P.p of O2 = n (o2)/ ntotal × P (t)
= 2/2.4 × 6=5atm
●Pp of co2 = 6 - 5 =1 atm
