Area of the wall = 3 * 5 = 15 m²

gate having dimensions 2m×1mswer:

Area of gate = 2 * 1 = 2 m²

Area of the wall to be painted = Area of the wall - Area of gate

=> Area of the wall to be painted = 15 - 2

=>  Area of the wall to be painted =  13 m²

cost of coloring is Rs 100 per m²

Hence cost of coloring wall = 100 * 13  = Rs 1300
