Let amount with A be x rupees.

B received x/ 5 from A.

C received half of x/5

= x/ 10.

Amount left with A

= x - x/5

= 4x/5

Difference= (4x/5) - (x/10)

700 = (8x - x) / 10

7000 = 7x

x = 1000

B received 200 rupees from A.
