Firstly,
Total no of soldiers - no. of soldiers remaining
= 8341-60
=8281
Thus, (no.of rows)^2=8281
= No.of rows= √8281
= No.of rows= 91

So the no.of soldiers in each row is 91 as no.of columns and no. of rows are same.

Answer:

The number of soldiers in each row is 91

Step-by-step explanation:

Total no. of soldiers = 8341

No. of soldiers left out = 60

No. of soldiers are forming square = 8341-60=8281

Let x be the no. of soldiers in each row

So, x \times x =8281\\x^2=8281\\x = \sqrt{8281}\\x= 91

Hence the number of soldiers in each row is 91
