men arranged in form of a square =335250
men left=9
total men
= men in the square -men left
=335250-9 men that is equal to 335241 this the no of men in the square
square root of 335241 =579
therefore there were 579 men  in a row

9 men were left out so the general has arranged 335250 - 9 = 335241

Now to find how many men were there in each row of the square just take out the square root
of 335241

So ✓335241 = 579

Hence, required number of men in each row = 579

Hope This Helps You!
