A gentleman is known by his gentle deeds. Good manners are the hallmark of a gentleman. A gentleman is a bundle of many traits, and these traits set one another off agreeably.
The first and foremost trait of a gentleman is his magnanimity. Magnanimity is kind and forgiving attitude to one and all, especially to rivals or enemies. A gentleman never keeps any grudge against anyone in his heart.
The second pleasing trait of a gentleman's personality is his respectful demeanour, He respects all, irrespective of their age, sex, colour, creed, or ethnicity.
Next comes the trait of being deeply knowledgeable. A gentleman has a vast knowledge of all the essential aspects of life. Another leasing trait of his personality his is chivalry (not towards women alone).
