||✪✪ GIVEN ✪✪||

  • Height of Giant Redwood Tree = x m.
  • First Time Growth = 5% .
  • Second Time Growth = 8%

|| ✰✰ ANSWER ✰✰ ||

Given That , The Tree Grows 5% in First Team.

So, it will become =

x + (5% of x )

→ x + (5 * x/100)

→ x + (x/20)

→ (21x/20) m.

Now, Height of Tree is (21x/20) m , and It Grows 8 % Again, and Reached to a Height of 22.68m.

So,

(21x/20) + [8% of (21x/20)] = 22.68

→ (21x/20) + [ (8 * 21x) / (100*20) ] = 22.68

→ (21x/20) + (21x/250) =22.68

→(21x*25 + 21x*2) / 500 = 22.68

→ (525x + 42x) = 22.68 * 500

→ 567x = 11340

→ X = 20m.

Hence, Height of Giant Redwood Tree is 20 m.
