A girl can run and cross a bridge in 61⁄2 seconds. If her
speed is 121⁄2 km/hour, find the length of the bridge?

→ Time taken by girl to cross bridge = (61/2) seconds .

and,

→ speed of girl = (121/2) km/h = (121/2) * (5/18) = (605/36) m / s .

then,

→ Length of Bridge = Distance covered by girl = Speed * Time

→ Length of Bridge = (605/36) * (61/2) = (605 * 61)/(36 * 2) = (605 * 61)/72 ≈ 512.57 m (Ans.)
